Pappa Paul's Potent Potatoes

Cut as many idaho, red, purple, or other potatoes into quarters, thirds, halves, etc as you want to serve.
Place in a bowl.
Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over them all, coating them thoroughly.
Transfer the oiled pieces to a cookie sheet, with a bit of space between each piece.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and powdered rosemary or powdered sage.
Sprinkle with grated romano of parmesan cheese.
Roast at 400 degrees until nicely browned and tender to a fork.
